How does leaving a fellowship of believers fix this paradigm? Shouldn't one stay within the body to fix something?

And I have stated that it is worrisome ... but it is not to say this situation is permanent ... her decision is recent ... we can encourage her to fellowship w/ a group that shares some of her doctrinal vies ... but to start implicating she's backslidden is just as worrisome.

Mich needs to find a group of people who have her best interests in mind and who will tell her the truth no matter what. The problem is that she hasn't found that group, yet. I've been lucky (I should say BLESSED) to have found, or have been sent, a solid group of people that I am submitted to -- I pray that Mich finds the same, if she hasn't already.

What do you mean by 'elevating' the saint?

Is The Body bound up within a church? We are talking about a metaphor when speaking of The Body... it isn't perfect nor does it have boundaries. That's like say God is only within a church building. She hasn't stated that she has left The Body -- on a church, an organization.

I'm not implying she is backslidden at all. I believe she is making an unwise choice which for some could lead to a backslidden state. Hopefully it is temporary for Mich and God will lead her to a fellowship that will encourage her growth in the Lord.

You ought to post a little Bible Study on the five fold ministry as a new thread. I probably would not agree with all of it but I am sure I would much.

I would be very interesting in reading this!

Not my recommendation, but she can always do what some others have done.

Herein lies the problem some will vehemently state the org or their doctrinal views are not the body ... but God forbid someone leaves their circle ... and oh boy ....
