We would have been happy to dialogue with Bro. Phil had he stayed around long enough to discuss.
His was nothing more than a "drive by shooting" post, and was perceived to be directed at the entire forum.

I wrote a wonderful post that covered all the necessary apologies and when I attempted to post it I lost it because the software said I needed to login... so
I will just say I am sorry for the cowardly drive by that I intentionally posted for effect. It was effective but as was pointed out it was not edifying. My apologies.
I now climb down off of my judgment seat, put my Mac 10 back under the seat, and return to the land of the status quo.
BTW... I am not a member of CAF... I would not want to soil their reputation by association.
You all have a blessed weekend and keep the rhetoric righteous!

Thank you! I really am not a banger. I just couldn't resist the temptation to create a tempest in a teapot.
My first post was truly for effect and a response to the little guy in the red suit that jumped up on my bad shoulder and kept whispering do it do it... and my second post was a sincere apology for listening.

I hope you also noted I was glad to see you posting (just not this particular hit and run). I hope I get to see you posting again soon. I hope you are having a great summer.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
