Finish the verse.."but God hath revealed them to us by His Spirit."

What are the things the Spirit reveals?

Not carnal and worldly entertainment. Not things that feed the appetites of the flesh.

If your concept of heaven is just a place where all the carnal appetites you have now are indulged, you have some serious minconceptions.

If folks could take earth to Heaven then would Heaven be Heaven or earth?

Do you think Two Church services a month is enough?

What would make new heavens and a new earth! Could it be the

same thing that makes us new creatures in Christ Jesus! Absolutely!

Old things are passed away, behold all things become new! For the

earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of LORD, as the

waters cover the sea.

Just because it doesn't happen in our lifetime doesn't mean it won't

happen. God is not limited by time. He cannot be rushed. He will do it

in HIS own time, not ours. We are under Him, not vice versa!

It starts with one, then two, on and on. The earth is filled with more

people filled with the Spirit of the Living God than at anytime since we

have been here! God COULD bring something on this world that would

cause the whole earth to fall on their knees. HE IS GOD and not man.

He made man, and the trees, flowers, and little babies! He IS the Great

Creator of the Universe! The earth is the LORD's and the fulness thereof.

GOD knows how! Our little finite minds cannot comprehend the GREATNESS

of our Great and AWESOME GOD!!

God is performing His WILL in His time!! Time doesn't control GOD!!

Just some thoughts!!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Ain't that a little insulting and cynical to assume or even imply that I would think this COON?

Why even speak to people like this?

Utterly ridiculous???

Who determined that a Pastor is a recipient of tithes and called a man of God and not the other four????

Yes!!! It's ridiculous to this ignoramus.
Great questions you bring up. The biblical pattern for ministry as been left many moons ago.

It isn't always about what's "enjoyable."

Although...there have been countless times when I have had to drag myself to church, but once I got there my spirits were lifted in one way or another, either by singing or by a testimony or by the Word or sometimes just by fellowshipping with my friends.

Likewise with prayer time...once I get into it, its a very rewarding and important part of my day. But my flesh doesn't always want to go there.
That's ok. Those who know what I am talking about will know what I am talking about. What's off base is to think people have to be in a church service every time the doors are open.
