The huddled masses (the herd) want and desire comfort. We all do. Freedom means different things to different parts of the herd. The guy on the plane wants freedom to not wear his mask. He wants freedom to curse everyone out who are wearing their masks. On the other hand, the other section of the herd, paid for their tickets, boarded their flight, and have a certain amount of time to reach their destinations to go do other freedoms. They just see the guy unmasked, with tin drum and soapbox as a nuisance, robbing their freedom of travel. He wants to be free to rage against the Machine. He wants to protest, they want to take their flight.
I don't wear a mask, but if there is a place where I need to go and use their services, I have to comply with their mandates or else not use their services. I always vote with my feet. So, if Acme Barbell wants me to wear a mask to go into their store and I don't want to comply, then I go to Brand X Barbell, since they hold no such mandate. If all of a sudden everyone wants me to get vaccinated to use their facilities, then I will have to figure out how to get those goods without having to use their services. It will all eventually come down to the last man standing. This pandemic / quarantine showed me just how much the movement of Pentecostals were so quick to roll up a sleeve. Had no real issues with go home to live stream and have Sunday morning church naked in bed. Oh well, I guess if you ran with the footmen, and they kicked the snot out of you? How are you going to deal with the horsemen? People barely living for God when they were having General Conference everyday, and the minute it all started going south they improvised, and justified why they kowtowed to the tyrannical system. May God help us all.
