Well, I think that's why we're told not to make this an issue. You end up building a wall between good people on a pseudo-issue.

Exactly.

Re: Rejoicing In the Sabbath:
No Christmas here but I will point out that not celebrating Christmas is not one of the ten commandments.

Re: Rejoicing In the Sabbath:
I like to just think of Christmas as a day to celebrate Christ's birth, regardless if its probably nowhere near the actual day. I do however try to avoid giving gifts, getting caught up in the "holiday spirit". It's just a day of reverence and thankfulness for me.

To me it's just cultural, I attend church on Sunday sometimes. But I am relatively sure to attend on Saturday, and we always have family devotions on the Sabbath no matter what. Sunday isn't "the Lord's day", it's cultural...just like Christmas.

... I am sure I am missing something here...
But no matter how I looked I could not find "Thou Shalt Not Celebrate Dec.25th" on the tablets of stone

Re: Rejoicing In the Sabbath:
I celebrate Christmas, Christ's conception, according to the preacher I'm listening to right now. Differently than most, now...but I notice that Christmas isn't a Commandment. Lol, oh, rerun. Funny how truth doesn't change.

Here's my point:
"You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I The Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate Me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love Me and keep My Commandments." I don't know of anyone who bows down and serves their Christmas tree as a god. It's just a seasonal decoration. (Something a pagan would find offensive.) Lol
