Yes, the greater house, or the greater body is the church of which the man, Crhist Jesus is the door.

In regards to the metamorphosis of Jesus Christ, you might carefully consider the implicatons of the word "changed" beginning with the Mt. of Transfiguration experiece right on down to the resurrection...a process that was working in him...perhaps from his very birth.

I will.

I presently see no edification for a 'seeker of God' to consider anything that would be generally termed 'distinction' when viewing the scene involving the Kingdom of God. I am not attempting to convince myself that the scriptures are showing me a scene involving anything other than my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My motive is to fully receive the spiritual edification in the witness of a Son being given, a Son submitting his will, a Son being sent, a Son loving the father, the Father loving his Son, the Son being about his father's business; the RELATIONSHIP that was interwoven by a Son with his Father, the vessel with the Spirit.

At it's component level, the distinction may exist even in the Kingdom of God. But for any and all discernable perspectives within creation, it is indestinguishable. For those within (the members) there is the same ongoing relationship abiding in love. To those who are without/outside of membership (whatever that means), they see God's house.

Presently, my view is not that the Son morphs into the Father in heaven, but the union of the Spirit and its abode become indestinguishable within creation.

Right. There is none especially in the strict theological sense. There might be some when you consider the overall redemptive plan and how God redeemed man by taking on in himself the entire periodic table, redeeming it, lifting it up from the fallen corruption effected by the fall of all creation, making a way for every element to follow into that exalted state.

Amen. This is the higher good.

Love is the dimension since God in his highest essence IS love. It is also the lowest since love is all compassing. To see a fully sold out Christian is to behold that essence if eyes are so illuminated by that light.

The metamorphosis of the man Jesus Christ was the beginning of the restoration of all things lost by Adam. Not speaking of Universalism. There is a great, grand and huge metamorphosis yet ahead of us, when all things will be changed into its original design. The thing lost by the first Adam and his wife through disobedience, by a corrupted Word of God, will be completely restored by the last Adam and his wife through obedience, by a fully revealed Word of God.

My spirit anticipates this wonderful work by the hand of my deliverer, my saviour.

It does seem worthy of acceptance that our changing that takes place in a moment in the twinkling of an eye, is a metamorphosis.

My continued departure (may actually be very slight), is the resultant condition/identity that emerges post-metamorphosis.

Thank you for contributing your understandings of the witness of the Word in your spirit.

Yes, amen brother.

All of creation now held in the captivity of the fall is waiting in travail for that day of redemption's crowning work of sweet release. The groaning in travail continues, looking forward to that blessed hope and the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ...our redeemer.

The JWs didn't give me my belief, N. I've never been a JW and neither have any of my pastor's who don't celebrate Christmas. There is a yearly debate on Christmas around these forums. Be sure to stay tuned. I will tell you that I don't celebrate Christmas because it is a pagan holiday. That's all ya get for now.

I, for one, am looking forward to reading the debate yet again. It's always very entertaining.

Sister, I will share something with you I am very excited about. As you may or may not know, I enrolled in college recently. Part of what I am being taught is how to refine my writing skills. One of the things I have wanted to do for the last 3-4 years is put together a decent Bible study on Christmas.

My idea is to make it fairly comprehensive, including the listing of all the Christmas traditions I am aware of and how they originated. It won't be the kind of study that can be put together in just a few days though. It is more of a long term project for me.

In the meantime I have started putting together small Bible studies, with the hope of explaining my beliefs. So far I have only completed one, but the second one is in the works. Eventually I will have a catalogue, of sorts, of my beliefs, including the scriptures that gave me those beliefs.

That sounds like a wonderful plan! Chances are, it will bring much insight into your life. I sense your excitement and am looking forward to reading what you have to say concerning Christmas. Best wishes on your writing endeavor.

BTW 150 shopping days left.
You really enlightened me about him not actually being born in December.

Almost as if I was born yesturday...
