The plans of the wicked are just a subplot in the larger Divine Plan. They think they are following their own agenda(s) but in reality they are following the script given to them. In fact they signed up for it. God is in control of all things, so the schemers and rebels got their little plans but it all gets worked out by God to His glory.

The Bible says Pharaoh hardened his heart. And it says God hardened his heart.

Isaiah prophesied that the people of Messiah's day would be prevented from understanding and believing because God would make their heart fat and blind their eyes. Yet Jesus - in spite of referring specifically to that prophecy - nevertheless laid all the blame for the hardness of their hearts at their own feet.

Paul said people would be given a strong delusion directly from God to cause them to believe a lie in order to insure they would be damned. Yet this is because said people did not receive a love for the truth.

Christ was destined to die at the hands of wicked rebellious men. So by being wicked and rebellious, the leaders of that time volunteered themselves to be used to fulfill God's plan.

The horns on the beast in Revelation destroy the Whore, Babylon. Is it because they are godly executioners of righteous judgment? No, they are the horns of the antichristian beast. BUT, God has put it in their hearts to give their power to the beast as well as to destroy Babylon. They are part of the beast (evil) but are used to fulfill God's purposes.

EVERYTHING goes according to God's plan, one way or the other. We either sign up for the good part by faith, or we sign up for the bad part by iniquity.

Apparently, a riot broke out at UCLA during the pro-Palestinian protest. They had a tent city set up. So the head of the college(?) called in ex-IDF vets to bust 'em up while LAPD stood back and waited till they were done.

EDIT: Appears to be at Columbia University not UCLA?

But I witnessed similar actions at UCLA so...?
