there are different economic theories from Adam Smith to Karl Marx, so you would have to have to right economist to fix the problem.

The post I responded to mentioned economists and so my post was in refernce to economists. That is different from economic theory.

The problem I have with economists these days is that most of them are, on one level or another, students/proponents and forwarders of the Keynesian economic theory. That's why economists don't have the answer IMO.

My statement stands that economists are the problem... not the solution. But the reason I say that beckons to your comment... ie... they work on bad economic theory.

Cuts what ?

I have always agreed with alot of Ron's ideas. The problem I have (and why he will never be elected) is his fairytale time frame for his changes. He wants to institute drastic changes in the first year or two of office. It would be like a new CEO walking into a business and saying "I am going to change policies in every department of this company that will change how everything is done and I will do it all in the first week" Its just not realistic.

You know what is realistic?

The collapse of our economy without some real and unprecedented changes.

One day... before or after it's too late is yet to be determined... we will realize that those who told us what can and can't be done were the orchestrators of our doom and we lent only a deaf ear to the orchestrators of our revitalization.

Re: 666, I mean, 999 plan, what is it?

The main problem with Herman Cain's 999 plan is that it gives the federal government authority to create a new tax. We cannot trust the federal government to restrain itself and keep the tax rate at 9%. History proves that when you give the federal government an inch, it will definitely take the whole yard.

Re: 666, I mean, 999 plan, what is it?

Herman Cain’s website scrubbed of 9-9-9 scoring document; VAT references

The scoring document for Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan — along with references to a value added tax (VAT) — are missing from the campaign’s website. And links to the plan from critical articles written in recent weeks no longer work.

So why would Cain’s team pull down the page now?
