I have had a feeling growing lately, however, that if we really believe in women and men looking different, then facial hair should be acceptable, even encouraged for men. It is perfectly natural, the vast majority of women do not have it, and would further enhance the distinction of a man and woman. One might go as far say that a man shaving his face causes him to look more feminine.
Yep. The men of antiquity would agree.
As for his reasonings they are non-biblical and contradict bible heritage.

You are exactly correct. And when the reasoning for men not wearing beards is found by pointing towards what the men 'of the world' do..... well, that is just very ironic.
Re: Enseyian Logic: God Made Mistake with Facial H
As much as the allowance for facial hair is a slam dunk biblically and historically ... many of these men could never flip-flop on this ... they have preached it so hard and heavy for so long they know they would lose their members ...
The question would beg to be asked: If he was wrong about this, what else is he wrong about?
They can't do it. So they can only seek to perpetuate it.

When I began really thinking about and studying this issue, it was a real eye opener for me. It showed me clearly how much we really value our tradition.

Just shaved all my facial hair off Sunday afternoon it had gotten so shaggy I was chewing on the whiskers. Now I am a candidate for salvation.
