She and Perry both have mentioned they would consider it if necessary to protect the rights of Texans.
I like what she had said more than Hutchinson or Perry. I voted for Hutchinson for Senator and Perry for governor. But as of now, my vote goes to Medina and I may see about helping her run, which I have NEVER done for anyone. lol

It's still early, but I don't think she's a shoe in this year. You could be giving your vote to Hutchinson. So, I'd be careful. Texans are going to want someone with experience to handle our state. Very rocky times right now.
But, know that I believe she will be a formidable candidate in the future. I'm just not sure this is her year. Also, know that I am paying attention and I am watching her. I like a lot of things she stands for. I'm just not sure I want her this year.

My wife and I like Debra Medina. We hadn't paid any attention to her UNTIL the first debate.
It was then we saw, and heard, the same stuff out of Perry's mouth. Kay Bailey looked terrified that she couldn't bring her Washington DC cronies to the debate with her to answer questions.
Try as they did, they could not ignore Ms. Medina.
I do agree with this last post. I did take more notice of her in the last debate, but I'm not sold as of yet.
I do think that Perry and Hutchinson acted like children in that debate, but I'm sure not voting for KBH.
I remember what it was. She is in favor of legalizing pot. I'm not in favor of that.

We need a strong leader for Texas. We are an important state. I can't trust Medina for that right now. My husband isn't voting for her, that's for sure. LOL!
Here's the Rasmussen polling for January 18, 2010.
A new Rasmussen Reports survey of likely Republican Primary voters in Texas finds Perry leading Hutchison 43% to 33%. Debra Medina, a tea party activist, is a distant third with 12% of the vote, and another 11% are undecided.
Rasmussen also notes that Perry has a 68% approval rating on his job as Governor. I don't see that changing any time soon.

LOL! She didn't have adequate time to put out her full thoughts on that and she knew it.
Her stand is one that I take and am in agreement with Scott Brown. We can't force our morals on an immoral people. We all have freedom in this country. What we can do, like Scott Brown, is to introduce and put into law "religious exemptions" in the medical field and not allow the federal government to do the funding. We can try to curb that, but we will not be able to stop it.
It's going to happen and people can be greatly harmed by not having adequate care. I agree with KBH on that one. It's a touchy subject!

But, I find it interesting that Zachary has chosen to support Kay in the primaries. Isn't that telling that they think they could use her better to push the TTC if elected?
