I don't know if it's just me...and I don't know why I do it...but everytime I hear bagpipes playing, or any kind of highland stuff goes on, it really tugs at my heartstrings!

My great-great-great grandparents were from Ireland...is it possible there's something in the blood??? Transferred down generation after generation???

I love bagpipes. I was in the Seaforth Highlanders as a Teenager (yes I wore
a kilt!) and my mom's dad was from Scottland.
He had a thick accent, and he was a descendant of Robert the Bruce the only King Scotland had.

Please, do not bow or kneel, I am not into formalities.

Please let us know how you like Ireland; I've been pestering my hubby to go there. Our 30th is coming up next year, so I want to plan something really big.
