Amazingly enough, I was shucking a little corn over on the "Cruises are Sinful" thread, and all I got was a rebuttal on how preachers NEED that R-n-R, and that I needed to be balanced. I guess since I didn't preach it on tv that it wasn't anointed enough to bring conviction.

Hey Matt, I agreed with your position about entertainment taking over our lifestyles, I just thought you were saying that preachers shouldn't take an R&R, which you later clarified. Clear? Cool. It had nothing to do with TV/Anti TV??? BTW, was this sermon a TV sermon or a recording from the conference and then shown via internet? I don't know enough about the SBC to know this.
