Did you crop the photo? How can you tell it says "The Book of the Day?" I haven't seen such a title out and searching amazon DOT com provides nothing.
The Book of the Day and The Book of the Night were components to necropolis inscriptions found in Egypt. They purported to tell of the travels of Ra across the sky during the day and through the underworld at night.
The Book of the Dead tells of how a soul ("ka" or "life force") travels through the after life and provides the "correct incantations and passwords for getting through that labyrinth and to the judgment of Osirus.
Given the subject's use of a hyperbaric chamber and other gimmicks for "life extension" I figured he must be interested in the secret passwords of the ancient Egyptians as well.
The Book of the Day is more interesting to me. It sheds some light on the ancient's understanding of their natural world.
