rdp...why do you want others to be bored with you! You only come here when you're bored and while you're here we're bored! It's apparent you think a lot of yourself and I would encourage you to go where others feel that way about you as well!

Teenagers being baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost, bible studies going on, awesome moves of God in youth services and regular services, altars full of young people crying out to God, reaching, preaching, teaching, ministering...and letting God have His way.

Re: Do You Believe In Women Preachers?
From my understanding, women may function within any given ministry. So I believe in women teachers, pastors, evangelists, prophets, and apostles. I believe these “ministries” can be defined as follows: Teacher – Grounds the church in the truth.
Pastor – Mentors the church into maturity in Christ.
Evangelist – Gathers the lost through evangelistic calling.
Prophet – Guides the church through anointed prophecy.
Apostle – A missionary sent to launch new works at home and abroad. Anyone might have one or more of the above ministry gifts. However, biblically their are two specific “positions” in the church that are restricted to men (elders and deacons). An elder is a believer who is gifted in a given ministry (or ministries) and is called to officially lead a local assembly. Deacons are essentially servants to the body (perhaps, elders in training).
The Bible specifically states that sons and daughters will prophesy. So women are definitely allowed a speaking roll in the church. For some reason, Paul found it necessary to state that a woman shouldn’t “teach”, that means establish church doctrine. This is because doctrine must be set with authority over all involved. But a woman can teach the young women and children. A woman is also free to mentor the church into spiritual maturity in Christ (pastor). Certainly a woman can gather the lost (evangelize). Certainly a woman can speak anointed prophecies (prophet). And certainly a woman can be sent to establish new gatherings at home and abroad (apostle). Of course, once a gathering is established, she should send for those who can appoint elders in the assembly.
The verse that condemns women from “speaking” in church is questionable as to its meaning. It would appear that Paul rebuked the church for taking this position and affirmed women being permitted to speak. I can cover that in another post. But I thought I’d mention it.

Strange...."It never fails to amuse me" either!
How someone cannot grasp I Tim. 2:11-15 is absolutely, unequivocally, mind-boggling!
Unbelievable how anyone could believe in "women preachers"..........

rdp, you have to change your screen name.
I keep thinking "Remote Desktop Protocol" when I see it.

I was on a forum wherein I used my real name for a long time. I had a few people misunderstand a a couple posts I made about George Bush. The word got to church family and I was confronted in the parking lot, getting called names, and I felt physically threatened.
So I just go by Aquila now.
