My wife in no way dishonored me, she honored me by wearing her hair in a manner that is pleasing to me. I like the way it looks, I love the fact that she can be ready to go without hours in hair preparation and that she can do things and not worry about messing up a costly hair do.
Jesus said his yoke is easy and his burden light, and uncut her was not a requirement for the Gentiles after the Jerusalem conference. As in "no unnecessary burdens".

9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
11Nevertheless neither is the man without the woman, neither the woman without the man, in the Lord.

What does the "for this cause" mean? What is it referring to?

For this cause refers to the preceding verse "Neither was man created for the woman, but woman for the man"...perhaps the angels part comes in because angels were created to Help God?

- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Carey & Trouvere,
I can tell you that my wife's hair is a lot less trouble cut. When she was UPC she had what looked like a simple hairdo but the "swoop" had to be smooth and it took FOREVER. By the time my wife got to church she really needed church.

I just thought of this verse:
1Co 3:1-2 KJV And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. (2) I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

Most Biblical scholars believe that if Paul was referring to fallen angels he certainly would have said so.

I do not have the book and haven't read it.
I didn't get that from Ruth Reider.
