I stand corrected two are from Bookers...
It's still political in my opinion...

Their feelings I believe are altruistic ... RevRandy ...
Our youth still have some naiveté .... however ... but their actions to influence ... are indeed political ... they have learned the rules of the jungle ... apparently ....

Could it be that it will be smaller because the district will be smaller? Just how large is an appropriate number to ensure equality? What numbers shall we toss out there?

One of the things that also stood out to me, was the idea that all these things would be lost?
There would still be a Sr. Camp, a Youth Convention, a WAY Choir, etc. The Praise on the Mountain event will be moved to another location for those who live in what will now be called the Western District.....just a tad ridiculous.
Thank goodness my friendship with Thad, Keith and Jeanie is not based because they live in a different district than me. Thank goodness my friendship with so many on this forum is not based on a state boundary.

The 2008 dates will be the same even if there is a divide. The inference is with a cut in funds, they will not be able to do what they could before.
I thought the Magic Mountain site was sold and turned into condos. They have a Praise on the Bay in Vallejo.

The owner of Magic Mountain decided to keep the park open. our choir is singing this Year along with the way choir and one other group.
Praise on the Bay was done away with- i'm not sure why. perhaps finances? lack of interest ?
