It's going to be a fun read. I've read a little already. I'll probably skip over the chapter, "Sex and the Single Grandmother".

Thanks, Renda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really loved this!

What Do You Give A Grandmother?

1. A handmade picture by the artist (signed, of course)
2. A personally designed card with Grandma's name featured prominently (spelled or misspelled - who cares?)
3. The latest photograph of Darling Grandchild
4. A frame to hold the latter.
5. A leaf, flower, acorn, or dandelion picked by Darling Grandchild.
6. Cookies, cupcakes, or Anything Else made by D.G.
7. A poem or story signed by the author
8. An invitation to lunch (if D.G. lives nearby)
9. A telephone call - whether or not it's a gift occasion - because what Darling Grandchild has to learn is that there isn't a grandmother - with or without credit cards - who doesn't value a grandchild's two words over his two cents.

We are going to try and do a progression in the same spot either every Trimester or monthly if she gets noticeably bigger. At the rate she's eating - Lordy!!! That's what she gets for criticizing her friend last year for having an appetite out of control. But, she said, "Yes, but I don't eat Snickers bars!"

Lol....McLaine isn't even showing yet, but she says that her jeans are getting too snug to fasten now. She went to the doctor yesterday and she's only gained one pound. She was concerned, but her doctor told her that was fine and that she'll be gaining soon enough.

Well, I think she was, purposely, trying to show more. She took this at the end of the day when her stomach is more tight. Oh, the drama!!!!

I was excited reading that. It really touched my heart. Can't wait to see what treasures I receive and save! I remember my son bringing me a wilted flower. I made over it like it came from the florist. LOL!
