This visiting "minister"....I say that because I think anyone filled with the Holy Spirit is supposed to be a minister, would have hated to come to my church under my previous pastor. They would have cooked you a great meal at home and if they took you out it would be to Red Lobster lol....far from dollars.

Let it be understood that Apostolic Friends Forum is an Apostolic Forum.
Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

People with that sort of spirit always try to make their way up on the platform!
We had a couple in our church we felt "sorry" for and sent them on expense paid weekend, we were shocked at their -out to eat bill, it's like they felt we owed it to them.
Only later to have this couple burn us pretty bad.

For Sister TalkLady.
One time a Sister went to hear a prophecy teacher.
After the service the Sister said Brother ,I enjoyed your teaching , I'm ready for the Lord to come ,I want to meet Him in the rafters when He comes.
One time at a outdoor campmeeting in a outdoor tabernacle ,a Minister told the saints the Holy Ghost is here with us ,I know He is cause I just saw Him flying around ,I did see a dove.
