Wonder whAts going to happen on the hc mags...
Is possible for many states to outlaw mags over 15 rounds. Would not surprise me if that becomes the divider line in all this, that way the ar's remain, as well as most all the Handguns....but a so called middlegorund.(outside of new background check laws)
Thoughts?

I don't think they will be able to pass a bill outlawing semi automatic rifle's but will probably pass a limit on the capacity of magazines. I am guessing 10 rounds. That is the reason I have scores of 30 round magazines on order that are due in hopefully before any ban could be enacted.
I hope I am wrong and they don't get anything passed except the law prosecuting someone who buys a gun for someone else who would not pass the background check. That I support.

Many of the states passing bans are not allowing any to be grandfathered. IE if a mag ban passes you have to turn them in.

The socialists aren't trying to pass laws to prevent straw purchases. They are going for ending private sale of personal/private property, requiring NICS checks for private sales, ie the end (again) of private property rights in Amerika.
ANYTHING that is proposed needs to be opposed because you can't trust Hitler or Stalin to make ANY law that will benefit the people.
The problem is too many laws as it is...

Re: Gun Talk/ Gun Show thread.
I picked up a box of 100 qty. 95 grain .380 bullets for my wife's Ruger LCP for $35. Have found that my local Wally World is now getting the ammo in just after 7 pm rather than 8-10 pm.

Re: Gun Talk/ Gun Show thread.
FINALLY!!!! After owning my AR 15 for two months without getting to go shoot it we are going to the shooting range tomorrow afternoon after church.
I just loaded four 30 round mags so I am ready to shoot 120 rounds. Half are PMC Bronze 55 grain .223 and half are PMC XTAC 55 grain 5.56
We will also be taking my wife's Mossberg Tactical (AR 15 style) .22 rifle. Much cheaper to shoot than mine!

Re: Gun Talk/ Gun Show thread.
Had a blast at an awesome shooting range out in the country. I was surprised at how little recoil the AR 15 had. First time I have shot .223 / 5.56 rounds.
I was also surprised, since I have not shot a rifle in many years, that I was dead on in my aim except I need to adjust my sight because both myself and my exMarine son were shooting about 4" to the left. We will get the iron sights sighted in next visit (we got there late Sunday and did not have a lot of time) and then we will mount and sight in my holographic sight.

That is why AR's are such a "blast" to shoot, they have virtually no recoil. They're not even that loud for the person firing -although those standing to the sides get a bit more blast.
