Re: Today's message at my church- Judgment is comi

Do you not think the down fall of Nazi Germany was judgment from God? Or the Soviet Union? Were there not children of God in these countries that went through tribulations as seen in the visions that have been posted concerning America?

What makes America any different from other countries? Yes America can and probably will go through another time of great depression which is just what these visions describe. But God has promised his people that if they are faithful he will take care of our needs.

I believe these are warnings from God to his faithful to be prepared, not just putting away extra food and savings but to get all things in order, especially financial things.
For many Christians that have allowed themselves to be carried away into the material life style of the world, and burying themselves with credit card debt and the like will find themselves in sorry state of affairs if and when the nation does go through an economic time of trouble.

Nazi Germany & the Soviet Union were never considered "Christian" countries.

(1) God has always warned them that are His;
(2) God has always provided for the faithful;
(3) In America, the greatest sin has been love of mammon and self;
(4) "If and when" are not compatible: it is WHEN.

That is not entirely true, all of Europe at some point in time has been considered Christian, including Germany and Russia. To be deemed Christian is to have religious freedom much like the early days of our nation. Study your history a bit more.

The first three statements are true, but the last one. If and when certainly are compatible. In God's eyes. Or are you forgetting Nineveh? If America were to repent and change God can and will stay his judgment.
"if my people will humble themselves and pray, and turn from their wicked ways, I will heal their land"
So I say again it is not when it is "if". The if though is dependent upon our reaction to the message of God.

So it is either "if" or "when".

I can agree with that. Make no mistake I do believe God will bring America to her knees if things don't change, but not necessarily the way we think it will happen.

Who/what is America? It has become, as I see it, the "military arm" of the Catholic Church.
It used to be Germany, during WWI and WWII.

You are right Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union were not considered Christian. But you must go back before in time before Hitler and Communism. Many of the countries in the European block at one point and time were considered Christian. For periods of time as lone as 100-200 years. America is a young country in comparison to European countries.
