Exactly.
And, trust me, the world doesn't notice the pioneer dresses vs. modern dresses, they see women in dresses with their hair done up, they make the connection.

Ha! That is PERFECT! Great point. I think I will mention this at the next church business meeting. Do I have to credit you as the author?

So again, if I were in Texas and concerned about someone mistaking me.. I'd wear my hair down. No need for me to chop it to my shoulders... and no need to say anything negative about this woman who has decided to wear hers down for the time being.

Ok that is getting old and pretty rude honestly.... You know for a fact that most of the women on here who do hold a standard did not agree with that and yet you continue on... its getting old! Tell me honestly how many apostolic women you know that believe the hair angel junk?? Seriously you say in one post you have no problem with people who do it for the fact they love their long hair... but I guess you have no respect at all left for those who do have some standards.. just because you have none and it left you with a sour note does not mean that everyone who holds a standard believes they have this stupid uncut hair angel... they just have convictions and some yes are in total bondage and believe they will not go to heaven otherwise but not all are like this... so please get over the broadbrushing and can we have the semi sensible CC1 back
I guess in the words of what some said to me a while back I can say now.. I have seen some very out of character posts from you today and I am saddened and shocked

The point of my post is... you can distance yourself from crazies, without dropping your convictions.
True, that's just the first time I've heard anyone say that the temple prostitutes wore their hair long and flowing.......all the commentaries I"ve read indicate that they wore it short.
Which is one of the reasons we preach that women should have long hair.
You know, the whole "short hair = rebellion, spirit of a man, etc"
I'd be interested in knowing which history books/commentaries you're referencing.
