Sometimes it is a matter of personal perception too....you can have a church full of people that are happy and just win with it and then there is that one individual that claims the pastor is never friendly to them or ignores them. I've seen it before and I just have no solution for them. They are dead set in what they believe....the church does not like them or something. Maybe it is true.....maybe they just have a messed up way of viewing others. But if that is the case then perhaps in eithe situation they just need to start over somewhere else

  1. There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Is that my responsibility or God's to deal with? Should I throw a fit and complain about it?

BTW this is part of the problem for some folks. The Pastor is pressuring them...calling all the time, all the time, all the time and has other saints calling that person to come to church and they start to feel suffercated...

Then they fear coming back to church because everyone must thing he is a backslider that needs to spend hours at the alter with everyone laying hands on him begging for mercy for his life and casting out devils

You know....while church is important you aren't gonna lose your soul over missing one service. You might lose part of your paycheck though if you miss work. I think often too the reasoning is they stay home from church to rest up So they CAN go to work the next day....spending 8 hours or more.

At least you didn't just throw up your hands and say they were lazy and were backsliding because they wanted the world...

What you did is very good, Abi. More leadership needs to take the same approach.
