Having grown up in an independent Full Gospel Church, all I ever knew was an openness to other churches. My parents embraced people on the basis of their Christian faith. Our home was a magnet for people wanting to get together for old fashioned house meetings. I was quite shocked actually when I went to the UPC Bible College in NB and was first exposed to the concept of not fellowshipping someone who didn't believer exactly as I did.

I have often wondered if there has been any ongoing outreach from NCC to the UNB.

I am still involved in Campus Evangelism but it's in Guangzhou, China. I'm going there in August to baptize students won to the Lord during the last school year. I am a strong believer that university is an excellent place to present the gospel because you're dealing with inquiring minds.
There definitely is..

For the last five years (this is sixth) that I have been in F'ton, there has been some version of Campus Ministry.. however, this year, we are revamping. We are doing outreach, but not only to the university, we want to reach out and connect with the community at large too. We're signed up to start volunteering at the soup kitchen and we have a GREAT group of students on campus.

One of our students will be attending an information meeting about the radio aspect. We're excited about that!

Thanks for the 411.

This looks like a great project.

I will pray that God will bless this outreach.

I was speaking with a student on the UNB campus who is involved with the University Alpha program, and with a Navigator's Bible study group, but wasn't aware of any UPC type presence on the campus.

I am assuming, with your involvement, that this group has something of a Oneness Pentecostal perspective? Is this group an outreach of NCC?

Well, it's good to see that Bro. Freddy hasn't shortened his services.

Anything notable to report?
