What kind of degree do you possess? - Page 11

I don't have a degree but have attended some college. I took a year of art and history of art, wanted to be an art major, didn't finish. Plus I took a year of cosmetology during my last year of High school, would have fished but that's when I joined the church it was not encourage ...

I'm currently working on a degree that scares me. lol

I plan to graduate with a BS in Mathematics in a few years. I plan on using that degree to teach highschool math. The love of teaching math will be the only thing that gets me through the degree necessary to teach it. I don't so much love math, but I passionately love teaching it.

98.6 degrees most of the time, unless I'm ill then I could possess higher degrees. Went up to about 104 once as a kid.....that might explain a lot now that I think about it......

I have a doctorate from the School of Hard Knocks.

Other than that, I've been fiddling around taking a few classes in recent years. I would love to get a degree some day of some sort.

I sure don't like the educational discrimination that I see nowadays though (as some here have mentioned). It's like an elitist social club. Thank God for the few companies that still value experience over a degree. Too many places would rather have a 25 yr old degreed person than an experienced 40 year old one.

I am encouraging my kids to get degrees. Bible college is out!
