Hve you all tried making sweet tea with Splenda? I like it.

My son and daughter-in-law like theirs made with sugar. When they visit, I make tea using half splenda and half sugar. They can't tell the difference.......and I don't tell them!

I always use artifical sweeteners in my tea, as my husband is diabetic. When I first started making it that way for him, I did two different kinds, but that didn't last long!

I'm sure the girls would much rather have it with the real thing, but they don't complain and it doesn't last long when they're at the house.

I just bought a gallon at Walmart that is made with Splenda... we shall see.

For store bought, ready-made tea, I buy Gold Peak. It's the best out there, but expensive.
