Wow, please tell me what main stream denomination accepts universal salvation. Are you talking about a watered down gospel as well? Preach Jesus and if that leads to one-step, three-steps or a thousand steps then that is fine but lets stop adding our personal experiences to the word of God.

I should have said the Trinitarian mode of Universal Salvation... Oneness, Mormons, Catholics, Charismatics, Pentecostal... everybody winds up in Heaven regardless of Bible Doctrinal Truths...
I think you've already accepted it...

Jesus Christ is the way and no man will have salvation with out coming to Christ. Mormons have Joseph Smith, Charismatics have spiritualism, the Oneness have water baptism and standards, and the Catholics have a system as well. I don't care who you are and which one of these groups you are a part of but if you try to make it into the Kingdom of God without true faith in Jesus Christ and him crucified then you are a thief and a robber.
Ephesians 2:4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.

Acts 2
36"Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."
37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?"
38Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call."
40With many other words he warned them; and he pleaded with them, "Save yourselves from this corrupt generation." 41Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
The Fellowship of the Believers
42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Re: UPCI GB Meeting - what would you want to tell
To be simple, what you rather be, emerging or submerging?
Relevant or irrelevant?

Re: UPCI GB Meeting - what would you want to tell
Emergent or Relevant Churches might or might not fall under the these characteristics/traits: Bear with me as I am shooting these off the top of my mind.
- Relevant Music User Friends meeting places
- Dress down styles for ministers (most people don't wear suits these days)
- Shorter discussion like sermons with power points with current relevant themes, how does the Gospel and my relationship with God change my sex life, my career goals, the arts etc.
- Meeting at different times and in different venues.
- Level playing field of leadership
- Missional in it's mindset, the Church has left the building. Meaning instead of bring people to church, take church to where people are. Under bridges, offices, marketplace, homes, etc. Be the church focus.
- Less institutionalism.
- Networking rather than creating another organization or group.
- Creative use of media and arts to engage the imagination and heart.

Well, as you can see, Keith just used the word emerg ent.
(see below)
What's the difference, anyway?

He also restated whether one would rather be emerg ing or submerging...
I think Keith has resigned to this mislabel.
Kind of like the Apostolics here that don't "practice" traditional holiness have resigned to calling themselves another Apostolic butchered misnomer --- CHARISMATICS.
Let's call a spade a spade.
