How far would you go to save a soul from Hell?
Ok, coffeeeeed up, and thinking... How far would you go to save a soul from Hell?
Setting: Crowded conference room. The people are a mix of sinners and believers. Your pastor is there. Your district superintendent is there. Across the room is a person of the opposite sex who is locked up in a box. This person is going to Hell unless you intervene. You are the only person in that room that can reach them.
Action: All you have to do is walk across the room, insert a key in the lock, and this person is free. THEY WILL NOT GO TO HELL. If you fail in your mission, they will go to Hell.
Ok, so how far will you go?
1) You are forced to wear blue jeans and a t-shirt to walk across that room.
2) You are forced to wear bermuda shorts... that is it. If you are a women, you have the option of wearing a surf shirt.
3) If you take the walk, your district superintendent and pastor will ex-communicate you and your family.
4) Your spouse or kids will be put in jail for life if you walk across that room. Is it worth it now?
5) Upon putting the key in the lock and freeing that person, you will be instantly electrocuted. Would you walk??
6)You are forced to be naked. Would you still walk?
7) The moment you start walking, everyone in the room stops and stares. Starts laughing at you, and tells you not to go. People physically stand in your way, forcing you to step around them. Your pastor does not understand the situation, and tells you not to put the key in the lock. What do you do now?

I guess situations 1-4, and 7 yes, 5- probably not, 6 - I'd have to think about it.
But I'm curious....
Are there any narcotic substances in that coffee?

LOL. The point of the post is to consider just how far you would go. I made the comment to my wife, that I might walk naked to unlock that box. She replied "You wouldn't even go and .................."
Think about it, though. Tim, how many of those choices would you do?
The coffee is pretty good here.

Okay.... Thanks. I do have a point to all this. Just so you realize there is no drugs in my coffee... and please keep the answers coming.
Tim, I am curious to your answer on #6... you say "depends". What would it depend on?

Re: How far would you go to save a soul from Hell?
Soooo here is the point....
We don't have to be naked, take criticism, be ex-communicated or go to jail.... we simply need to walk across the room and touch a stranger's life. How many of us are willing to take that walk??

Re: How far would you go to save a soul from Hell?
Here's a question for you, what if it was easy to pull a soul from hell, would you do it????
Just have had experiences with those who could/would do the elaborate seemingly, but struggled with simple obedience to God's word.

Why not think longer and come up with something realistic and that makes sense
