Who decides what is, and what is not, modest apparel? I do. For me and me alone. I don't think its my place to try to tell someone else what dressing immorally means. If they really love God, they will decide for themselves what it means to "Follow.... holiness, without which no man shall see God". If they don't love God enough to seek out His Word for guidance, then I don't think how they dress really matters.

He didn't go on to speak about the "scummy pot" and blame all of the churches other ills on disrespecting/not following, the pastor did he? LOL

We've already been down that road. It was the goddess of competition, or something to that effect. I don't worry about it anymore cause I don't go to that church, but we did look it up back then.
Looked it up and found it. Here ya go:
The company takes its name from Nike, the Greek goddess of victory.

Re: Question about sinful clothing
Some people have an issue with supporting companies like TH because he is gay or bisexual. Can't remember which at this point. It's kinda like the Disney boycott.

I do not care if anyone wears these things. I was merely asking a question

Nordic is from the root word for an ancient greek god of physical fitness. Believe me? You shouldn't cause it is made up kinda like alot of what is taught in our churches.

Re: Question about sinful clothing
The fancy, cool, well advertised brands tend to be more costly but otherwise the only question is the modesty factor.
As in all other purchases, use good sense. Cost, style, fit, emblems...no scripture
If you feel it's wrong, then for you it is....
I like some of the popular designers, but always shop "clearance" !!!
