Meaning:

the Greek prefix sym-/syn-, meaning "together", and adelphos, meaning "brother";

Bruthas that are together - a fellowship of believers

Scripture: "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1)

That is what was behind it.

I failed to see any reference to Acts 2:38 in the Bible beliefs. Did I miss something or is this just another nail in the coffin of the beliefs being bandied about as christian out there?

I belong to Synadelfos, it's different than here but it's a place where I'm treated well and there are three-steppers there as well as one-steppers.
Of course I don't agree with everything there but I do enjoy hanging there.
I have friends there,so I go there to visit with my friends.
Dan.A. and J-Roc are doing a good job,I claim them as friends I think I'll get them converted yet.
