A good study here.

Yes...an example of how his mercy covers our past sins, and his grace determines our future!

The Word of God is full of people who had to experience paradigm shifts in their own lives in order to do the will of God: Abraham, in interceding on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah, pleaded with God until his paradigm was altered; Moses, upon realizing God would destroy Israel had to shift his paradigm; and probably none is more significant than that of the rebuilding of the Temple.

One of Covey’s seven habits is to understand we are responsible. That is, we are able to respond to all of life’s circumstances as we choose. I believe this is a reflection of Jesus’ teaching of turning the other cheek. I can not always be responsible for other thoughts, words, or deeds, but I do decide how I react to them. Jesus did not just teach about reaction but offered saga words for pro action.

Being like Christ is not just a way of thinking and feeling, it’s a way of thinking and feeling that leads to Love in action.
