I have gone back and read some of the things in the thread that I missed out on over the few days that I was sick-- and I don't have time to respond to each one personally. I do want you to all know that if you have asked for prayer-- your needs have been added to my daily prayer list. I try to find time to check in at least once a day and add those things whether I have time to post or not.

I have something I'd like to have the group here to help me pray about as well. My parents are having to make a very serious decision regarding church now, and I'll not get into all the reasons. I would just appreciate if you would all pray for my parents as they seek guidance from the Lord at this time. I know that they would greatly appreciate the prayers as well.
I'm glad you are feeling better!!!! And I am glad to see you posting again!

I'm not tired of yet. Now, if I was in Indiana, then I would be tired of it because Indiana never looked like this!!!

It was 26 degrees when I got up today.... It's 37 now-- and supposed to be in the 60s this afternoon.

Snow is nice... but only for Christmas eve & Christmas day.

I'll enjoy seeing other people's pictures of snow. I'm spoiled living in the south.

Sis. Tina,

So glad you are feeling better! May it continue!

I pray that God will give your parents divine guidance and

the wisdom to make the decision HE would have them make,

in Jesus Name! It is SO important when we are faced with

serious decisions that we seek what He would have us do!

Someone said, "God gives His best to those who leave the

choice with Him". I believe that with all my heart! We are not

our own, but have been bought with a price! So we are to

glorify God in our body and in our spirit, which are God's! To

seek HIS WILL is the main thing! He will not lead us wrong!!

Blessings,

Falla39

Thank you all for the prayers...

I will let my parents know in just a little while that I have requested prayer for them here. It is such a great comfort to know that there are people holding you up in prayer when you are going through things like this.

Love you all.

I'm out for a while. Kids have homeschool co op today.

I'll be back later this evening.

One more quick prayer request~

My hubby just called me. He had gone into work this morning, still feeling weak from his round of the flu. He thought he would be okay, and be able to make it through the day. They sent him to the doctor. The doctor has given him a phenegran shot and a shot of something that hubby can't remember the name of. He's waiting on the results of a nasal swab test which will determine if he can return to work tomorrow-- or if he will be put off work from 3-5 days.

Apparently there is a strain of the flu going around that is considered to be of epidemic proportions--and if he tests positive for this, it means more off work time, whether he feels like working or not.

IF he tests positive for this strain of the flu-- he will be out of work for another three to five days. We can NOT afford this financially. He's already missed two and a half days of work from this virus.

I know that God will provide, he always does. But hubby stresses over stuff like this... and with all the blood pressure issues that come up when he gets stressed---we don't need this to become a major issue.
