There are a lot of questions around this, namely: if Comey felt pressured, why wait until Trump fired him to leak the existence of his memos? Why remain in his position and not resign in protest?
Because you're the FBI Director and will not be bullied... especially when you know the law is on your side.

Lights, camera, action on Thursday, June 8th.

Wonder what Trump will tweet or do to try and distract from the hearing.
Hmmm...

A person who refuses to be bullied and who has the law on their side wouldn't sit around silent until they were fired. He was the Director of the FBI. If he really feels pressured and knows the law is on his side, he would have opened a formal investigation and announced he was seeking a grand jury to indict Trump.

We'll see what happens on June 8th. Comey better have some actual evidence of Trump trying to bribe him, or he'll be begging for any gig along with Kathy Griffin.

Nope. Comey "feeling" pressured isn't enough to launch an investigation. Trump could just deny it and offer apologies for the misunderstanding. However, feeling pressured, refusing to bend, and being fired... now... that's Trump being an arrogant idiot and basically playing straight into Comey's hands.

When I was a medic I was pressured by a First Shirt to violate SOP regarding the necessity of having O2 on our ambulances during 19K live fire support. I told him, "Top, I'll have to shut down this range if I don't get O2 down here before 0630." He said, "My boys are good, Specialist. I'm telling you, just let it go. We'll be done before 1400 and nobody will be the wiser. Let's not inflate the issue." But here's the deal. If we had a "real world" incident, and a soldier needed O2, we'd be up a creek. I didn't ask to be transferred to a different range. I didn't call someone of higher rank (being the medic on range, I was acting safety officer. I stood my ground. At 0630, I shut down the range. The First Shirt flew off the handle, screamed at me, cussed, promised to have me demoted, and even wrote up charges of insubordination. LOL And when I was called before unit brass, I told Col. Carnegie-Booth what the SOP required, what my role as safety officer requires, and turned the entire issue against the First Shirt. What started out as me being grilled, ended up being a "toast a 1st Sergeant", session. I gave him fair warning. Just because he outranked me and tried to pressure me, doesn't mean I'm going to bow. I knew that if he dared to try to do something official against me for doing my job, his would be on the line. LOL

Besides, I didn't like the First-Shirt anyway. Watching him talk himself into a confrontation with me was half the fun. Idiot. lol

Doesn't have to be a bribe. But, you're right. We'll see.

But you and I both know that no matter what evidence Comey has, fake news and alternative facts is just going to twist it and conservatives are just going to blast Comey anyway. The average voter knows this too.

Of course I don't, I made it. LOL
