says who? there is no reason not to believe that your churches are not the blind leading the blind, and that wherever two or three gather in My Name is not a better model. i say this because a church is organized by men; it has become an organ.

Says the very definition of the word. But who cares what words actually are defined as, eh? Some won't do it for "legalism" and "law" and "cross". Why do it for "church".

hey, the Church is made of Living Stones, it isn't a puzzle imo. If you need that to be local, then all i would ask is why? How does it serve you? What would be...what is the point? The fruit? How would you avoid inbreeding?

Re: Who's authorized to baptize whom?

And living stones are put together to form a building. TOGETHER. Say it with me... "together."

Forsake not the assembling. It's not, "me and Jesus have our thing going." Doesn't have to be an assembling in the formal sense. Who said it did? Just ASSEMBLE with other believers and exhort one another. Hello?

When Paul said forsake not assembling, he was actually saying do the what the meaning of the word CHURCH means... CONGREGATE and ASSEMBLE. It 's the ASSEMBLY.

sounds good, but you don't know that. He could easily have been saying "Seeing as how you are a Church that cannot be seen, made of Living Stones--that, sorry, i reject your "context" for wadr--and you might run into a member anywhere on the planet, at any time, it might be tempting to give up assembling with locals; don't. (they need your help, maybe even)"

Hey! If you don't want to assemble with any believers, and exhort one another and fulfil the definition of the verb assemble which comes from the noun assembly or congregation or church, don't do it. Don't do anything you do not want to do, because when it becomes a "DO I HAVE TO?" and not a "DO I GET TO?" it's a waste of time, anyway.

But it is more than something that sounds good. It is the truth.

Just look up the term CONGREGATION and study why King James forbade the translators from taking "eklessia" and translating it as ASSEMBLY or CONGREGATION, but only "church". You may see how you'd done fallen right into the kingy-boy's plans!

Again, don't assemble if you don't want to. I would never want to push you to do something you just won't do. No hassle. relax.

but of course that is not the point here; it is just a convenient tool for you to push your platform. "...something you just won't do?" Where does this stuff even come from? You don't think that perhaps your perception of Scripture runs along the same lines? maybe?

Didn't I ask you to relax? What are YOU pushing here?
