I only attacked JD. Not you. You made a claim that was factually incorrect and I simply made a statement about it.
Okay, n_david. I'm truly no longer interested in what you have to say on this thread. IMO, JD did the right thing, and I hope everything works out good for Jacob.

Re: I need help!!!

Jacob Sauceda,

As you read through this thread, the one thing I hope that stands out to you is the amount of care and concern that people have for you, FOR YOU JACOB SAUCEDA!

We don't know you personally. We only know what you tell us. Whatever you tell us and whatever happens to you, this thread should be enough for you to realize that people do listen and that people do care.

I care about you, what happens to you, and I believe that the Lord has blessed you with the ability to truly bless the lives of Christians around the world. I know the Lord has used you and will use you in the future.

I hope that one day you'll truly understand my actions and that you forgive me.

Re: I need help!!!

One day, you'll be in Quebec City, and you'll remember this moment in time, when you were cared for, when you were loved-- for nothing that you could offer, but just because of who you are.

1 John 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Let's also put his post into context.

This was posted in a thread entitled, "I Need Help".

n david, you don't have to be, but I am my brother's keeper.
You did what you did, I don't agree with it for the many reasons I've already posted.

I hope you were right, but with online forums you have to use some caution.

Haha. Of course you're not. I point out an error and suddenly you're not interested. Good grief.

How is the below quote attacking you? I'm being serious. You really felt I attacked you?

The reason the local Christian school workers you know got in trouble is because they worked in a mandatory reporting job. Had they just been the neighbors (again, depending on the state) they wouldn't have had to report.

Oh...you think I'm not interested because you made some sort of "point" or pointed out my "error?" No, I'm not interested because you argue things into the ground for the sake of the argument and not for any other productive reason.

IMO, JD did the right, ethical thing. Even if Missouri doesn't require it, it's still the right thing for multiple reasons. Kudos to him for acting decisively and protectively. I've been close enough to abusive situations to know how important that is, and how the possibility that the victim could be lying is relatively unimportant--and for the proper authorities to figure out.

Honestly.. its okay if you are the lone ranger, and think JD shouldn't have done what he did. We're all entitled to our opinions, regardless of whether they turn out to be right, or wrong.

In the end, I'll stand with JD, because based on whatever info he got from Jacob, he felt a need to do something. Maybe it was overreaction, and maybe not. How will we ever know for sure?

I've seen you pick the same fights with PO. Maybe you just like this kind of bickering, I don't know. But really, it is just your opinion here, and others with theirs. What can you expect from an online forum?

For me, I'm going to continue to pray for Jacob. I really will be praying that the Lord uses this whole situation to bring about good in his life.
Good for you.
