I know a person from another forum though that STILL has a large supply of toilet paper they stocked up on prior to Y2K.
I have some things stocked now, because I feel this is going to be a bad winter for our area, involving ice-- and I know what happens in this area when we get ice. The last "ice storm" left us without electricity for two weeks. I'd have loved to have owned a generator at that time. There is one that several families share ownership of. When things like that happen--all the neighborhood pitches in for fuel and the generator gets carried around in the back of a truck from house to house to keep people's freezers charged up so that food isn't lost.

Indeed... what she said...'cause it is what I said too.
