I'm just pointing out that as a mother, my first concern is my children--not saving money, making a political point or salvaging my pride. So from that perspective, I think she acted stupidly.

Understanding human behavior. This mom apparently drives a school bus. She is familiar with driving because she has a CDL.
If she has a CDL, she knows what a ticket means. It can mean loss of job. 11 years driving a bus.
On the other hand, she has never probably worked through her mind how she would deal with a stop, If you have a flat, you just get out and go back when you see it is clear in your mirror. She did obey his first instruction. He asked for her lisence and the video shows her givning it to him and he walked back. He made another mistake by facing back . He is open to getting shot.
