While we are stuck in the house because of snow and ice...5-6 inches of snow and then ice on top of that...(it's now melting as the sun is shining...thank the good God of heaven) I embarked on a journey, literally, to find the capet in my youngest son's bedroom (this is not an exaggeration, being men I'm sure that most of you can relate).
Well, needless to say, my temper got the best of me, although I didn't yell and scream, I just gave myself a blood pressure headache, trying, really trying to find a good reason not to murder him, or maim him or his dad.
Anyway, at one point I found him in his closer with his little face pointed to the celing and "mouthing words". Come to find out, he went to his dad, who was hiding in the other end of the house in our room, and said, "Daddy, I know I've been bad about not keeping my room clean and while I was in the closet I repented and asked Jesus to forgive me." He was as serious as a heart attack. My husband was about to bust a gut to keep from laughing.
John Robert is a very serious little guy when it comes to his hyde....he likes to keep it free from harm. I think he was smellin the patchin, and was afraid that Mom was gonna be the fire that smoked him out.
I sent him and his dad to the store for some more trash bags. I guess I'm starting "spring cleaning" a little early in lieu of all the snow and ice.
Kids are so cute......(at times
) He'll be more cute when I get his room cleaned and start on big brother's....
