Have You Considered Miracles Of Judgment?
Judgment is not a popular discussion. To most an automatic turn off. But have you considered that most of the miracles in the Tanakh and many in the New Covenant scriptures are miracles of judgment?
How about the plagues on Egypt? The drowning of Pharohs army in the Red Sea? Not to mention the various times during the Exodus that YAH visited the chilldren of Israel with punishments for their sins?
Then we get to the books of Kings and Chronicles which are counterparts with the book of Acts in The New Covenant we see it again. Great acts of judgment coming upon the enemies of God.
Then in the New Testament we notice no acts of judgment coming from Yeshua. Yet we do see Herod cut down for accepting the praise that should have been God's. Paul called blindness upon the false prophet Bar Jesus.
Then when we arrive at the book of Revelation its chock full of teaching how Yeshua brings plagues and wrath upon the lost.
To me it seems like this kind of teaching is very effective and a good motivation for souls to turn to Christ and be saved.
Should we preach the whole counsel of YAH?
16: The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
17: The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
Is it not reasonable to believe God uses judgment still today when he choses?
