Now don't get me wrong...many women DO still wear pantyhose (mostly the older generation *hint, hint* ). Even I will wear them for formal occasions. I do not wear them otherwise. I think most women do the same nowadays.
I hope you will take a second look at this stance and see that it's OKAY to be flexible in this area. Trends change, customs change, cultures change. If they didn't, you would still be wearing a hat everywhere you go.

In this household the women will wear hose in public. I am very old school. I like the lady in my life to be dresses nice. And no flip flops in public either.
