I have looked through all of the Hebrew words in this passage, including each part of the compound words (18 total), and looked through the Apeppo Codex, BHM, BHS, Leningrad Codex, plus several additional "minor" texts, and I can’t find haw-law (הלא) in any Hebrew text for De 22:5.

Was this a test or something? LOLOL

BTW, the Blue Bible Hebrew Lexicon is an edited down version of the Gesenius 1847 edition that Robert published. The majority of the "mising elements" are the extensive single letter dissertations.

Another general note for the forum: Like English translations of the original texts, there are no perfect concordances/lexicons either!
LOL! Leave it to me to mess up a letter (I did have it right the first time I posted in this thread though..lol). It's hawyaw in this verse. Hawlaw..not so much.

It's a compound word with lo right at the beginning. Well, the future tense is. It's lamed aleph-yod heh yod heh. If that helps.

I haven't had any problems or issues with the Gesenius at blueletter. I do use my paper one just cuz it's easier to look at it and the multiple windows I have open at once...vs adding another window (most of the time). But any cross referencing I've done hasn't given me any issues with anything important as far as looking up the lexicon stuff.

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message
