The apostles never recorded any Christian festival, other than the Passover that was being kept by Jewish Christians and their Gentile counterparts. Therefore we have no such edict in the scripture to keep, commemorate, observe, or celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, or His baptism by John (Epiphany Eastern Church) or the vist of the Magi (Epiphany Western Church). Every year I have this discussion on the forum. I have noticed over the years that the same individuals who attack, mock and fight standards of separation, totally contradict themselves when it comes to their own pet tradition. Leaving me with the thoughts that, it's not about what thus sayeth the Lord. It's all about American Apple Pie Christian Culture.
