Storm got my computer!
I woke up at 4 AM this morning with Euoward blowing the wind and raining. Tried to sleep through it but to no avail. So I got up around 5 and turned on the news and they were announcing the storm was right then coming a shore!
Great! Then the lights flickered a couple of times and stayed on. The bad news it we knew the storm was coming and forgot to turn the computer off! We were lucky we didn't lose our electricity and I think that is because we bought the last generator that Lowes had in the size we need. Since we are on well water we have to have electricity to have water.
Hubby just called to inform me the hard drive crashed and they "may" be able to retrieve the data.
Please pray they can as it has my books on it and my family tree information, all my contact information, and all my recipes!
