He was wrong on the surge. We agree. However, he was never one to call for a hasty withdrawal of all combat troops. He has been clear in his words about that. I do not consider a 16 or 17 month phased withdrawal to be hasty at all.
Furthermore, he has always supported the idea of leaving troops behind for training and security-- but the Repubs don't focus on that part of his strategies.

I sincerely don't believe that the white folks of Iowa feel like they owe Barak Obama one dime. I don't think the whites of Oregon feel indebted to him either.
