10 year old needs prayer desperately

I just received a call from one of my coworkers asking that we pray for her sons best friend Alex . He has been in the hospital for two weeks and is very sick. The doctors could not find out what was wrong and last week his appendix ruptured. He had surgery and they thought he was doing better, but yesterday he began running a high fever and after many tests they found gangrene in his stomach and infection throughout his entire body. They have taken him by ambulance to Houston and the doctors have told the family that the situation looks very grim. He is 10 and an only child. I told my coworker I would have the church pray. Could you please send this need out to the prayer team.
