The Government is incapable of addressing this issue. It's too complex. To say that we support only allowing it to preserve the life or health of the mother sounds good....but that means the Government has the power to decide what constitutes a life or health threatening condition. Think of it like this....it's your wife on the table....the doctors are divided over if it is advisable to have an abortion. Who's best capable of making the decision...you and your wife...or the Government?

I tell you what offends me. Your willingness to use the "its too complex" argument about abortion, but in the same breath you would support government control of healthcare in general.
