God is tenderhearted...

In Exodus 22:26-27, we read that a garment, taken in pledge for a debt, had to be returned before the sun went down. This was an act of mercy in order that the neighbor may not have to shiver all night without a covering.

This was my sermon text in our service tonight...May we be more like our maker: tenderhearted...
