Not many have the guts to call it a sin anymore (this is a good thing) but I would dare say that the vast majority of UPC churches out there would view a man who had received the Holy Ghost and was still wearing a beard as a "problem" and would breathe a collective sigh of relief when he finally shaved it off. Until a man wearing a nicely kept beard is viewed no differently as a man with a nice tie then the beard will still bear its "well... it's not a sin but..... are you sure you don't want to shave that thing off" badge of dishonor.
