Does God hear/answer/care about these types of prayers?

Question to the OP: Have you not ever asked God for anything that seemed a little "selfish" ?



I tend to take this scripture to heart I guess... Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. ~ Psalm 37:4


As long as I put God first in my life, why would he not answer prayers that seem a little selfish.

I don't believe he would answer a selfish request if it were something that would come between me and my relationship with him-- but there are a LOT of prayers that God has answered for me that would probably seem like selfish prayers to some...
