Between Charlottesville and Richmond, VA. My mom lives in a tiny town between those two major metropolises, but it's quickly growing...in fact, it's one of the fastest growing counties in the state right now.
But until they get a Wal-Mart (no, there's not ONE in the ENTIRE county!), they just won't be modernized!!
I'm going there to help my mom out. She is not in good health and recently, her husband broke his ankle and is in a nursing home awaiting surgery, which will happen when the swelling subsides. My brother is a big help, but he's not able to do the things that I can do.
My mom is also having major surgery next month herself and will have to stay with a friend to help her, otherwise she'd also have to go to a nursing home for a few weeks.
If I were there now, I'd be able to care for her. But I can't go until the end of July at the earliest.
