Radio Broadcasts in 1938 PA of JC Their TV!
In 1938 the following men had a vision to broadcast their open services on the radio in the following cities:
F.E. Curts - Cincinnati, Ohio
O.A. McPherson - Mishawaka, IN
B.M. David - Twin Falls, Idaho
W.T. Witherspoon - Columbus, Ohio (General Chairman)
S.G. Norris - St. Paul, MN
And these men did it without a resolution.
What is the difference with men of that day who were the future Con's of the UPCI after the merger in late 1945.
So what is the problem with the Con's today not following their father's in the world of Technology?
In October 1938 the H.G. Wells "War of the Worlds" went on the air.
In the Dec 1938 "Outlook" magazine of the PA of JC they talk about the sin and madness of the world.
That was the T.V. or Movies of their day...
Yet the men who were the CON side of the UPCI merger did not need a resolution to allow the great men of their day to get the message of Jesus Christ out to the masses.
That was also the case with the Harvest time broadcasts after the start of the UPCI.
The CON's of today need to stand up and allow other men of vision to use the medium of their day to get the message out....
